After all, Utah's offense has been humming along lately with days-of-yore precision.

"Happy Days are Here Again" could easily be this team's new theme song.

The Jazz have won six of their past seven games and climbed three games over .500 for the first time this season.

Utah has scored more than 100 points in nine of its past 10 games. The Jazz finished with a season-high 120 points Monday against Memphis. Six players reached double figures.

"A lot of that has to do with trying to share the Basketball," coach Jerry Sloan said. "When you do that, you get better shots."

The Jazz never have shot over 60 percent in three straight games, but they nearly accomplished the feat against the Grizzlies. After hitting 60.8 percent in a 105-86 win over Chicago and 60.2 percent in a 108-92 victory over Portland, Utah was above 60 percent for most of the Memphis game.

The Jazz missed six of their last eight shots, however, and finished shooting 58.4 percent.

"We're doing a great job of sharing the ball," said Carlos Boozer. "Say one guy has a good shot but somebody else has a wide-open shot, we're making the extra pass. We're really playing unselfish Basketball."

As a team, the Jazz head into their game against the Pacers shooting 49.8 percent.

The franchise record for single-season field-goal percentage is .512, which was set in 1994-95, when Utah won 60 games.

"We're making that extra pass to the guys who are open," said Ronnie Brewer, who made 11 of 16 shots and scored a season-high 25 points against Memphis.

Besides executing offensively, the Jazz are also getting healthy. C.J. Miles (thumb surgery) will play for the first time this season against Indiana. Kyle Korver (knee surgery) also might play. His status will be a game-time decision. Meanwhile, before practice Thursday, assistant coach Scott Layden joined Sloan in getting into the spirit of the Jazz's throw-back jersey game.

Each wore a bright green sport shirt with the musical note logo on the pocket.

"I don't think I'll wear it in the game," Sloan said. "I'd like to, though. It's pretty comfortable."

Sloan couldn't remember if he ever played against the New Orleans Jazz -- "That tells you how old I am," he said -- and he laughed when asked if he planned to wear a 1970s-style leisure suit against Indiana.

"We used to blow our nose on the lapel of those things, it was so long," Sloan said. "We didn't have to have a handkerchief because it went all the way across. You just blow your nose on that."

Questions about the Pacers erased Sloan's smile.

"They are a team that's going to push the ball on you," said Sloan, who noted that All-Star forward Danny Granger is versatile enough to create problems for any opponent.

"They put Granger at 'four' a lot of times and that makes him a tough matchup," Sloan said. "The four-man has to go out and guard him like a three-man and that's hard to do because he's a very talented guy."
