Indiana Pacers Roster Report 2009-11-05

Indiana Pacers Roster Report 2009-11-05ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard T.J. Ford, Shooting guard Brandon Rush, Small forward Dahntay Jones, Power forward Danny Granger, Center Roy Hibbert. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Guard Luther Head, Forward Dahntay Jones.

--F Danny Granger has gotten off to a slow start from the free throw line. Granger, who shot 88 percent from the line last season, is only shooting 68.8 percent this season.

"That's something," Granger said. "I'm not too worried, though. I'll hit a rhythm in a minute."

--G A.J. Price was back at Madison Square Garden for the first time since playing in the six overtime game against Syracuse in the Big East tournament last March. The game was one overtime short of the NCAA Division I record.

"I try not to have any memories because it's more nightmares than anything," Price said about the game that took 3 hours, 46 minutes to complete. "It took me the whole next day to recover. I was so wired after that game that I couldn't sleep. I was up all night thinking about the game." Price, who is currently the Pacers' third point guard, had 33 points and 10 assists in 61 minutes in that game.

--C Roy Hibbert is starting to find a rhythm. The second-year center had 15 points and 14 rebounds for his second straight double-double. What was even more impressive was that the foul-prone center didn't pick up a foul in 29 minutes.

"I just have to keep competing," Hibbert said. "Troy (Murphy) does that every day. I just have to keep working on my game."

--G Mike Dunleavy (knee) is out indefinitely with a knee problem. He suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from knee surgery prior to the start of training camp.

--F Tyler Hansbrough (shin) is out for at least two more weeks because of a shin injury, which happened during his senior season at the University of North Carolina.

--G Travis Diener (toe) has only practiced once since the start of training camp because of a toe problem that bothered him last season.

--F Jeff Foster will miss at least two weeks with a high right ankle sprain, suffered in the first half of the Oct. 30 game against Miami.

--F Troy Murphy is doubtful for Wednesday's game at New York because of a sore lower back.
