PLAYER NOTES: --F Danny Granger is continuing his quest to make his first All-Star appearance. The Pacers' leading scorer had 26 points to increase his scoring average to 24.5 points a game. He sat out part of the fourth quarter with a sore neck.
--Rookie C Roy Hibbert scored 15 points while going a perfect 7-for-7 from the field. Five fouls limited him to just 12 minutes.
-G Marquis Daniels was back in the starting lineup after missing the previous three games with a viral infection. He had a game-high 28 points and five rebounds in 38 minutes.
--F Troy Murphy returned from his four-game absence by scoring six points and grabbing 12 rebounds in 36 minutes. A viral infection caused Murphy to lose 20 pounds.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Mike Dunleavy (knee) is sidelined indefinitely because of tendonitis in his right knee. Dunleavy, the Pacers' second-leading scorer last season, played just 12 minutes in the preseason and just recently started practicing with the team again.
--Back spasms caused G T.J. Ford to miss his second game of the season. Ford injured his back in the first half of the Dec. 23 game against New Jersey.
