PLAYER NOTES: --G Marquis Daniels may not be the Pacers' best player, but he's been their MVP this season because he's provided scoring -- 16.1 points -- and defense. Daniels is shouldering the responsibility of having to defend the opposing team's best perimeter player. He had 21 points in 33 minutes Saturday.
--F Danny Granger continues to make a push for his first All-Star appearance. He had his 12th game of at least 20 points when he scored a team-high 27 points. The problem Granger will likely run into when trying to make the All-Star team is that he plays on a team with a losing record.
--F Troy Murphy isn't putting up huge scoring statistics, but he's giving the Pacers steady points and rebounds. He got his eighth double-double of the season when he had 13 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Mike Dunleavy is sidelined indefinitely because of tendinitis in his right knee. Dunleavy, the Pacers' second-leading scorer last season, played just 12 minutes in the preseason and has only taken part in one practice since training camp started in late September.
