Indiana Pacers Notes, Quotes 2009-11-23

Indiana Pacers Notes, Quotes 2009-11-23--Shooting from the perimeter is not going to get the job done for the Pacers. Forty-eight of their 78 shot attempts Sunday were outside the paint. They were 20-of-30 on shots attempted in the paint. "They shut us down on offense," coach Jim O'Brien said. "There was nothing positive about the game. We just have to study it, learn our lesson."

--The Pacers had a season-low 15 assists on their 32 field goals. The starting backcourt of T.J. Ford and Brandon Rush combined for just one assist in 60 minutes.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "They played with more force than we did all four quarters. We didn't seem to have an answer. It's a credit to them; they played extremely hard. They shut us down on offense and just kicked our tails when we were on the defensive end." -- Coach Jim O'Brien
