--The Pacers are 0-9 this season when they give up at least 100 points. That's a significant problem considering the Pacers are supposed to be an improved defensive team. Indiana is only 2-5 when it scores at least 100 points.
--Magic center Dwight Howard had more blocks (four) than the Pacers had as a team (one). The Pacers went into the game averaging nearly seven blocks a game. Center Rasho Nesterovic had the Pacers' lone block. --The Pacers better hope their conference record isn't necessary for a tiebreaker for a playoff spot at the end of the season. That's if they're even in playoff contention at the end season. The Pacers are 4-8 against Eastern Conference opponents. Seven of their next eight games are against teams from the East.
--The good news for the Pacers is that they only have to play the Magic two more times this season. The bad news is it could be two more losses for them. Indiana has lost five straight games, including twice in the past eight days, to Orlando.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "It's definitely a tough schedule we're playing. We're going to find out what we're made of, kind of how we did in the beginning." -- F Jeff Foster, on Indiana's string of seven consecutive games against teams expected to make the playoffs.
