--The challenge of getting their record to .500 doesn't get any easier for the Pacers (6-8). Seven of their next eight games, including five on the road, are against teams expected to make the playoffs.
--Road victories have been hard to come by this season for the Pacers. They're just 2-6 away from Conseco Fieldhouse. Both of those victories came against teams that were missing key players. New Jersey was without point guard Devin Harris and Houston didn't have Tracy McGrady. --The Pacers are 6-2 this season when they have 14 or fewer turnovers. They only had five turnovers in the final three quarters against Houston. Five players that played at least 13 minutes had one or fewer turnovers.
--Playing from behind may be the best way to go for the Pacers. Their victory over the Rockets came after they blew 15 and 13-point leads to Miami and Dallas, respectively, in their previous two games. The Pacers also blew a 26-point lead to Philadelphia almost two weeks ago.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We needed to get a win like this and hopefully it propels us. It was big to get a win on the road. We've had a lot of games when we have lost leads and it was good to hold on at the end." -- F Troy Murphy.
