Indiana Pacers Getting Inside 2009-11-18

Indiana Pacers Getting Inside 2009-11-18There won't be a starting lineup controversy when forward Troy Murphy returns from his bruised lower back as long as the Pacers continue to win. Pacers coach Jim O'Brien said it will be tough for him to put Murphy back in the starting lineup since the Pacers are 5-0 with a small lineup.

"My inclination is to stick with the same group, but that doesn't mean (Murphy's) minutes will be cut any when he's healthy," O'Brien said. "It's tough to go away from a group that's (5-0)."

It wouldn't be surprising if O'Brien went back to Murphy at some point because the Pacers are bound to have problems with a small lineup. The biggest challenge will be keeping Danny Granger out of foul trouble at power forward.

Murphy hopes to return later this week, either against Cleveland on Friday or at Charlotte on Sunday. Dahntay Jones is the most likely candidate to go back to the bench if O'Brien decides to start Murphy again.

PACERS 91, NETS 83: The Pacers led from start to finish and forced 19 turnovers. Center Roy Hibbert had 19 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. The Pacers are on a five-game winning streak, their longest streak since winning six in a row during the 2004-05 season.
