Pacers guard Mike Dunleavy returned from his right knee injury just in time for his second game back at Golden State since being traded to Indiana more than two years ago.
Dunleavy, who missed the first 34 games of the season, had 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists against the Warriors last season. Dunleavy, who is coming off the bench, is limited to 20 minutes to game as a precaution.
Dunleavy didn't look too rusty in his second game when he came off the bench to score 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting against the Lakers Friday.
"I felt pretty good for not playing since April," Dunleavy said.
The Pacers guard was constantly booed by Golden State fans because they think he didn't live up to his potential as the No. 3 pick in the 2002 draft. A fresh start allowed Dunleavy to prove many doubters wrong when he averaged a career-high 19.1 points last season.
LAKERS 121, PACERS 119: Another close game, another close loss for the Pacers. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant made a jump shot over Jarrett Jack with 3.0 seconds remaining to give the Lakers the victory. The Pacers didn't have an opportunity to tie or win the game because the Lakers defended their final possession too well. Forward Danny Granger led the Pacers with 28 points. Troy Murphy added 24 points.
