Danny Granger may be playing on a team with a losing record, but he's definitely making a case to be an All-Star this season. Granger, the Pacers' new franchise player, has scored at least 40 points in two of the past four games and is averaging 24.4 points this season.
The fourth-year forward is having to take on more responsibility this season because guard Mike Dunleavy is still sidelined with a right knee problem. Granger's increased scoring is not going unnoticed around the league. Cleveland coach Mike Brown, Dallas' Rick Carlisle and Boston's Doc Rivers all said Granger should be an All-Star this season. "It's confidence," Warriors guard Jamal Crawford said after Granger scored 41 points against his team. "I've always thought in the past he was a really good player. But now he's being more vocal with his teammates and you can see he's the leader of this ball club."
PACERS 127, WARRIORS 120: The Pacers are on their second-longest winning streak of the season -- two games. Forward Danny Granger scored 41 points and point guard Jarrett Jack, who was filling in for starter T.J. Ford, had a season-high 24 points. The Pacers attempted a season-high 106 shots.
