Things aren't expected to be as easy this time around against the Boston Celtics for the Pacers. The Pacers jumped on the Celtics by as many as 25 points and eventually beat them by 16 points by holding down Boston's "Big Three" -- Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce -- in early November.
Things could be different this time, though. The Celtics are on a nine-game winning streak and they've had a day to prepare for Indiana.
The Pacers, meanwhile, go into Wednesday's game having played Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Wednesday's contest is game three of seven consecutive games against teams expected to make the playoffs for the Pacers. They're 1-1 so far.
The Pacers and Celtics play again Sunday in Indianapolis.
PACERS 118, LAKERS 117: Troy Murphy's tip-in at the buzzer capped off a 16-point come-from-behind victory for the Pacers. The Pacers won the game by dominating the offensive glass. They had 19 offensive boards compared to just eight for the Lakers. Murphy had 17 rebounds, six of them offensive. Forward Danny Granger scored a game-high 32 points on 10-of-27 shooting.
